Purpose
The Braun Family Foundation exists to empower the next generation across Kansas and Colorado by expanding access, providing impactful mentorship, and creating real-world opportunities—leveraging Christian Braun’s platform to help young people thrive on and off the court.

The foundation’s work is organized around four core pillars: financial education, community access and impact moments and youth opportunity —each designed to grow into a full program as partnerships and funding come together.

Why we built this.
Basketball has given me incredible opportunities, but nobody gets here alone. Growing up in Kansas and continuing my journey into Colorado, I’ve had families, coaches, mentors, and whole communities step into my corner. They didn’t just teach me how to play the game—they taught me discipline, accountability, and the value of showing up for the people around you. I started the Braun Family Foundation because I believe every kid deserves that same foundation. Talent is everywhere, but access and opportunity aren’t. Through our focus on financial education, community access, youth opportunity, and impact moments, we’re working to make sure young people have the practical tools and guidance they need to succeed—whether that’s on the basketball court, in the classroom, or out in the world. This foundation is personal to me and my family. We’re in this for the long haul, focused on real relationships and measurable impact in the communities that shaped who I am.
